Empowered Birth Stories

I can’t recommend Liz and Hypnobirthing more. I feel so much more confident about having a smooth and easy natural birth now after completing the class. Liz has given me so many tools to keep in my treasure chest. Liz is very open and approachable with the many, many questions I had and made the class informal and fun while imparting so much information.

Liz was absolutely amazing. Beyond teaching the material of HypnoBirthing, she was a wonderful person to chat with regarding all things childbirth. She made me feel extremely comfortable being a young mother and confident in having a happy and healthy birth. I will recommend her to any pregnant woman!

Liz was very caring and giving with information. You can tell she was passionate about HypnoBirthing which made it easier to reciprocate the information. When you are reading the book, it can be overwhelming and almost stressful to think about all these things you MUST do. But Liz was very good at calming me and reassuring me that most of these are all tools that could be used. Not mandatory. I appreciate Liz very much!

My husband and I had such a great experience taking HypnoBirthing classes with Liz! The virtual classes and Liz’s willingness to work around our schedules were huge pluses for us, since there are no HypnoBirthing classes offered where we live and we work opposite schedules. It was so encouraging to see that birth can be so much more peaceful, gentle and beautiful than the images we so often see in the media. I knew I wanted to have a natural birth, but I’m someone who likes to be as prepared as possible. I feel so much more confident going into my birth with all the knowledge and tools I gained through HypnoBirthing!

I am so glad I took this course. Liz is a great instructor and so personable. She answered all our questions and made me feel so confident with my decision to hypnobirth. I highly recommend this class! We look forward to sharing our birth story soon! Thank you Liz!

Liz was fantastic! I had heard of HypnoBirthing and decided it was time to give it a try for baby number 3. I was 33 weeks pregnant when I contacted Liz, and she was super responsive and flexible, so I was able to complete all the classes in just two weeks. Now I am able to practice the techniques and enter the final stages of this pregnancy knowing that I have the tools to have a calm and peaceful birth. I learned so much in this class, and really enjoyed my time with Liz. The material really opened my eyes to a totally different perspective of childbirth than I had encountered before, and I was able to work through a lot of my fears. I highly recommend Liz as a teacher, both for her flexibility in setting up one-on-one classes, and for her enthusiasm and friendliness that made each class truly enjoyable. I am so grateful!

I’m pregnant with my second child and was looking for a better experience with this birth. I heard about HypnoBirthing from a friend and quickly found Liz’s course online. From the very beginning she was kind, patient, responsive and thorough. I sent a request for info and heard back from her within that same half hour. We got on the phone later that week and chatted about what I was looking for and what the course and program entailed. I have a 20 month old so coordination seemed like it would be difficult but Liz made it so easy by being so accommodating. She offers group and private classes. I opted for the private class and I’m so glad I did. She continued to be thorough, open minded and supportive the whole way through. We met for 3 zoom sessions, but she was always available via phone/text/email anytime I reached out. I now feel very excited for this birth and owe a lot of that to Liz! I can’t recommend her enough.

Liz was such a blessing for our family! I was so afraid of childbirth thanks to all of the terrifying stories shared with me by friends, family, and society in general, and she helped me to overcome that fear. Liz is incredibly personable and patient and made it clear that no question was a stupid question (although I’m sure some of ours were lol). I never thought I would be able to discuss childbirth without feeling nauseated and uneasy, but her love of and passion for what she does created a calm and safe environment that allowed for learning and healing for both my husband and I so that we could view the MIRACLE of childbirth from a completely different perspective than we had before. Thank you, Liz for helping us to bring our son into this world in the most calm and loving way that we could’ve! We appreciate you!

Liz was lovely to work with. She was energetic, patient, no-judgment, and easy to talk to. My wife and I both enjoyed the class and got a lot out of it– some review of things we heard about elsewhere, reassurance about our personal decisions, and lots of new tools and ideas for welcoming our little one. The thing I found most interesting and useful was the framework Liz provided on how birthing will go, as it was informed by birthing experiences and practices from places not just in the US. 5/5 would recommend it to my friends who are expectant mothers.

Liz’s HypnoBirthing Mommy course was one of the most important parts of my preparation to meet my happy and healthy baby boy! Thanks to Liz and the techniques covered in the class I was able to have the labor experience I had hoped for, but didn’t know was possible. My labor went quickly and smoothly while allowing me to be present in the moment with joy. I highly recommend taking this class to any and every Mom, whether you have birthed before or not!

Liz is a wonderful human being who truly cares about the work she does! My husband and I took the HypnoBirthing class with an open mind, not knowing what to expect. We ended the course with a positive outlook on birth and feeling completely empowered by what we learned. Thank you Liz!

Had a wonderful experience taking this HypnoBirthing course! I would highly recommend Liz’s knowledge and dedication is phenomenal.

I completed my HypnoBirthing course with Liz when I was 34 weeks pregnant. Liz was down-to-earth, eager to help and support. With the knowledge from Liz’s course and the tools given to us by HypnoBirthing Mommy, we were able to do a completely unmedicated birth. I was able to labor primarily at home and was able to manage my surges just with our HypnoBirthing tools. When we went to the hospital, the doctors and nurses were surprised at my demeanor (at first they did not believe I was in labor and talked about sending me home). They asked my husband if I was always this calm and controlled. I attribute this to having gone through the HypnoBirthing Mommy course and practicing for the five weeks between starting the course and when our son was born. As someone who was very worried about having a traumatic birth, I cannot advocate enough for this course and Liz as an instructor!

Liz was an amazing instructor; I loved her class so much I connected her and my doula to refer to each other! Everything learned in class will be wonderful to have in my treasure chest on my birthing day. It was great she included my husband Anthony as well. The videos were great to see and I couldn’t be more obsessed with rainbow tapes! They’ve literally saved my sleep!! Hypnobirthing is an amazing concept I want everyone to know about and believe in. We don’t need medication or to be uncomfortable. We need to believe in ourselves and Liz did a wonderful job teaching us this. Thank you, Liz!
