Meet Feary the Bear – Your Fears, Transformed

Feary the Bear embodies the instinctual fears that creep in during pregnancy—those nagging what-ifs and worries that seem larger than life. Fear can feel overwhelming, like a bear in the wild, looming over your journey to birth.

But here’s the secret: Feary shrinks when you step into confidence.

  • Fear feeds on the unknown – The more you learn about birth, the smaller Feary becomes. Knowledge turns fear into trust.
  • Relaxation tames fear – Fighting fear only gives it power. Instead, deep breathing and calm presence dissolve its grip.
  • Confidence transforms Feary – With the right tools, fear shifts from an enemy to a guide, reminding you of your strength and readiness.

Fear is natural, but it doesn’t have to lead. With trust, knowledge, and relaxation, Feary becomes a soft reminder—not the ruler of your birth story.

Sweetie Kylie Elizabeth Alleva of Gowanus I – Instinctual Birth in Action

Sweetie Kylie isn’t just a beloved family dog; she’s a living reminder of our natural wisdom regarding birth. Kylie doesn’t worry about the birthing process—she simply trusts her body, free from anxiety or overthinking. In the wild, mammals birth instinctively, only feeling fear when an actual threat arises.

Kylie shows us that anxiety around birth is learned, not natural. Her calm, intuitive nature teaches us that birth unfolds smoothly and naturally when we trust our bodies.

Lessons from Kylie:

  • Birth flows naturally – Trusting our bodies allows birth to unfold easily.
  • Fear is only needed in actual danger – We can choose calm over unnecessary anxiety.
  • The mind-body connection is key – Relaxing and surrendering unlocks our deep wisdom.

Kylie reminds us that birth is a natural process—we’re built for it and can trust it.
